Dreams
We would love to think that the Centre for Art and Culture had a sustainable future. For all of our existence, we have lived from hand to mouth and not a month goes by but that we wonder how long more we can continue.
That we are still here after almost 20 years is due to the amazing solidarity of our friends in Ireland, England and Scotland who, through parishes, schools and local communities, have organised events raising whatever they could, and at times, what they did not have, towards our expenditure of around £7000 monthly. We sincerely hope too, that we have given something to them in return, through our prayers, our thoughts and our continuing and never ending gratitude. And also through the many things we are able to do here in Brazil, through our art, for the sake of a better world for us all.
